Well photographed, good focus, the image is clear, I like his placement in the frame and the calm water allows the clear reflection, nice detail in detail in the feathers, I see water droplets,good eye contact, I love the white bill! He stands out from the deep blue water, well presented!

Excellent capture of this interesting American Coot, Grace. I love how his reflection is so clear in the calm water as he glides along. Interesting notes accompanying this, too. Very good lighting and focus showing excellent clarity. Great composition. Suzanne

This is just stunning Grace.....and reminds me of the shot of your Common Loom which by the way I can't get off my mind. I love how calm the lake seems in this shot with the gorgeous reflection and slight movement in your image. Very well photographed with good details. A perfect exposure ad white balance. The eye really draws you in since their so sharp and from their everything else is just icing on the cake. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing. Cyber Six!

This is a intriguing capture of the bird. I am impressed by the clarity of the bird and its reflection. The waves cause by the movement of the bird draws the interest to both. The photo is well framed and balanced. The bird is nicely placed to the left, so it has enough negative space in front to swim into.

Another awesome shot! There is a surreal feeling to your photo. The water is so still and dark and the reflection so crisp, it's more like a mirror than water. But the wake says different. There's a peaceful, but lonely feeling in your shot.

Beautiful Capture of this common Coot/Eurasian. We have them at our Wetlands and they entertain me with their squeaky toy like sounds. I like their lobbed feet which are like floatation devices when they run on water.
It happens so fast I have yet to capture them doing it.
This is a fine well focused capture with superb white balance control and fine eye clarity.
The still glass like water to the right is awesome along with the movement on left and water Reflection in the foreground.
Excellent work behind your lens GG~MIB!!

This photo is just amazing.
So clear and crisp it's so smooth and sharp! The detail is excellent with a perfect mirror reflection. The coot looks like it has a beautiful glaze due to being wet, I love that appearance of a soft glimmer around it. Outstanding capture Grace!
