I like the feather details and the unusual position of the bird. The fanned out feathers with their rust colored areas on the shoulders are very pretty. The breeze creates ripples in the water and the lily pads.

I love this. Its not the typical shot, which makes it unique and interesting in its own right.
The bit of rust works well with the colors upon the lily pads beyond. It almost looks like the bird is photo bombing your shot on purpose! Nice that!
The reflection toward the bottom with the wing just above the water is spot.
Nice detail there.
Overall, a solid and well taken image.

Wow! Sorry I don't have a 6 to give you. I love the angle that you captured that bird in. You get to see his back, wings and him flying. It looks as if he is trying to land. Nice composition and framing. Your details in the bird and the background are very sharp and clear. Nice work.

Thank you for your nice comments. She was landing and then proceeded to hop from lily pad to lily pad!

personally I like to see this side of bids also. Great stop action, wing spreed at its' full spreed out point and the bird still has room to move in the frame. Lighting and DoF spot on, well done and presented well. Thanks for sharing

Thank you! There were lily pads obstructing her reflection, all but the wing tips, which I really like too.
