:):) A fine entry for the contest. Fits the bill!:):) This is a wonderful shot of the birds! You have timed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good luck in the contest!

The Little Skipper at the Helm!
Full speed ahead mom!
Too darn cute. I can see another one peeking out in front.
Nice white balance control and fine focus. A bit more space on right would be better.
This is adorable!
Nice work YOU!

Ohhh. And don't get close. Mom will rip you apart. I have seen protective swans (and geese). It is not pretty.

Love the image, though. Well played. Nice focus. Great framing. Best of luck.

It is a fun-photo. That little one looks as if it is the only rider, but I think can see half of the head of a siebling when I look closely.
It probably will do well in the contest, because in my opinion it is an unusual capture. It is a bit to dark, but I guess you cannot change the exposure. Cropping seems the only allowed change. Is it?

    thanks a lot cleo;
I took many pics with different exposures; I kept the exposure on the dark side in order to avoid blown outs

This is so cute with the little cygnet's head sticking up from under the mom's feathers! You captured them at a nice angle with the mom looking toward the camera and a good view of the little one's face. This is a perfect entry for the contest! Best of luck!

I like the little skipper on mom's back. I've only seen this occasionally and it certainly s a moment to be treasured. The light and focus is right on. The image speaks volumes and is a perfect entry for "baby animal transportation". This is bound to capture a lot of votes. Good Luck in the Contest! :o) Helvi

That is a great shot! A sure winner in the contest. I love the little faces poking up!
Nicely captured.
It is a bit dark though. I might have bumped up the curves or tried a LUT filter to give it a little bang if you will.
Overall, nice shot though. Not something you see everyday, that is for sure.

Very cute shot that fits the contest well. These two cygnets are out for a cruise on the pond, it is a lot easier than swimming. I think (at least on my monitor) that this shot could be a bit brighter without loosing detail. Well seen and well shot.

you're right, but I had to keep it on the dark side in order to avoid blown outs?..
