This is a lovely shot. It reminds me of the minimalist landscape style. Lots of landscape and then something small on a grid line that draws the focus. I think this would have been achieved even better without the frame of the foreground trees. Great colour and detail. Well done.

I have been in and around the mountains in the Maggie Valley during this time of year. I love the composition which definitely draws the eye to the cabin.home. Colors are beautiful. Framed very nicely with the branches in the foreground which gives it a great perspective. Love it!

Jack! This photo is absolutely awesome! You can notice beautiful things to take pictures of them. Gorgeous colors of fall contrast with the house. Sharp focus, perfect composition. Misty fog in the far away mountain with that white smoke coming up make this picture very special. I love it! I can't believe that you were hiding this beauty since last year! Looks like a beautiful place for a mountain trip. Is this Vermont, perhaps. Those colors are phenomenal. I love the framing of the cabin high up in the and the way you framed it with the trees at top and the right hand side. Nice sharp crisp focus.

Nice one Jack. This one reminds me of the Smokies here in Tennessee. The Fall colors that surround the beautiful log homes always draw us to spend a weekend there. I love the smells and listening to the silence that is only broken by the singing of the birds. Great scene jack ~ Steve
