If you light up many caves you will see a myriad of colors. This painting clearly represents the colors one might find in the depths of the earth. The colors are close to the iridescent colors of mica.

This is such a creative and interesting piece. I had never thought of using coconut milk in artwork before... what does it do? This is so trippy and awesome :) This could totally win in a contest

Many thanks, Miranda, for your very nice review. The coconut milk - only a drop - interacts with the paint and helps to create interesting cells. I'm experimenting at the moment with different additives such as PVA glue and silicone, too. Having fun! Suzanne

I did see the purple flowers at the left first, then I had to search for the snake. I found the little creature near the coconut milk at right, above the white waves from the stream. I also see several faces. Those a probably gnomes who live and work in the cave.

Wow, I have been sitting here just looking at this, the more I look, the more I can see, there are so many faces,I see flowers and butterflies too, the colors here work so very well together to form all of the shapes, it's also just beautiful to view as a work of art, and would look beautiful hung for display!

I love reading your notes on how you created this and some of the others. The colors are your signature colors. Love the placement of the yellow against the purple and green tones. All in all this is a very pleasing artwork.
