A fantastic shot. The detail in the blossoms is outstanding and the colors are all but unbelievable. An artfully cropped presentation that is definitely eye catching.

The color is amazing MM. I wish they were a little bit sturdier but the wonderful color makes up for how tender they are. Do definitely appreciate the outstanding review you've given my new piece. Thank you so much.

Wow, what fabulous Petunia specimens, Deb. I can see why your Dad loved them. Excellent capture with just the right detail. They look like two horns screaming their beauty out at us. Excellent color capture too. Very well done, my friend. Ed.

Horns...exactly Ed. I just couldn't remember which type horn it looked like. They are very 'tender' blossoms though....even a good breeze will cause them to bend, twist or rip....but that's OK. I LOVE the color and feel like Padre smiles on my gardens each season now. You are just a sweetheart for sharing a gold star w/ w/ his one and I do really appreciate it. Thank you so much.

Good man, fav. is orange; yep, grow what you want; nice colors; like the burst of red and yellow in the middle, gives pizzazz; good contrast of flowers and greenery behind; good closeup shot; and clear; they have good shape; love 'em; take care.

I guess a peach does have some orange. Never thought about it. You're welcome. I'm thinking about coloring another white flower. I have a plant at home, just don't know what it is called. I do remember I couldn't pronounce it. It's a bunch of little white blooms close to each other. I'd probably recognize the name.

They kind of look like baby breath.

    how's it doing??
reply by swimmer74 on 24-Jun-2018
Well, the white plant is over the hill. It stayed great for about three weeks. I watered it and then poof. I am thinking of doing the colored flowers again now that I know how to do it.

'poof' LOL I know how THAT goes swimmer. Do the colored ones again and send me some pictures. I'd love to see them.

Will do. Pretty easy to make them.

Like the color and nature of the flowers, do not care for the loss of sharpness on the secondary flower as in this composition they should be equals. Nice frame filling composition. Find the bright green leaf to be a bit of a distraction.
