I always enjoy the insight into the art. Your drawings and colours are bold and alive. They look like colours applied in a layered technique that seem to unite the thought process and the concept behind it. Well done!Good luck in the contest.!

A fine piece of work and amazingly well written verse. I love the colors and movement. They have the same rhythm as your verse it seems.
It speaks to those whom fear the stark truth. To see the harsh light of day and fear it.
It reminds me of why I hate looking at myself in the bathroom mirror under the bright lights. I fear what I see and hope to see something different. The reality is unless I really come to terms with it, I cannot hope for something better.
This is very personal for me, as I was traumatized as a wee bairn by how I looked and dressed.
Now I just adopt a very British attitude and pretend not to notice.
This piece reminds me of all of that and more.

Wonderful illustration and poem - very timely and profound. Extremely profound! I love the figures and the way you've laid out your piece. I truly hope you also post on FanStory - this would be perfect there as well! Your poem verifies the haunting feeling every morning when I get up and turn on the news to see the horrors of each new day... There are times I can't take it anymore....and have to blind myself because it's all too much. Great piece!

This is a very imaginative artwork. You should have submitted it to the art from the imagination contest. It is very mysterious and you have to wonder what is going on. You are hungry for more. Love the posture of the two people in the artwork. Great use of your signature colors.

Very well created with excellent detail and colors so very well applied, your draawing illustrates your poetry very well. Some things are so difficult to see therefore being blinded makes it copeable .well presented!

Poetry is not my specialty, so I can't say I completely understood the poem. However from what I can tell it seems like your drawing matches the poem well. You did an excellent job with the details and the clothing is very bright and vibrant along with here bright red hair. Well done and thanks for sharing this detailed drawing :)
