This is gorgeous! I have a photograph like this of one of my kitties, but his eyes are orangy yellow. I think their eyes are beautiful. You really created a lovely array of depth and color tones in the eye. The way you applied the light, giving the glassy effect is impressive. The fur is also very attractive.

Nicely done!
I live the intense green color. Quite beautiful. It looks like an emerald.
I really love the way you did the reflection.
It gives it great depth.
The silver coat works well too. I can totally picture this cat. A fine beautiful queen.

excellent presentation of this macro art work and a great subject to submit for this particular contest and you've captured the detail and expression so well despite there only being an eye to go by but due to the palette and the composition you have used you still have managed to retain an expressive look

hi there, I found this fabulous painting in your portfolio so for the sake of the contest I won't call you by name.. I love this creation. and the title suits it perfectly. such a realistic rendition shown in macro format.. the soft fur coat that surrounds the stunning eye is beautifully rendered with excellent brush strokes used to capture the fine detail of the cat's facial markings.. the black and white hues are nicely blended to give a wonderful interpretation of cat fur.. The shape of the eye itself is nicely detailed having that definite thick outline to around the iris itself. The choice of colours used to depict the eyeball works brilliantly. the green hues show visible markings within the iris.. fantastically blended to give a natural and realistic outcome. I love the use of reflected light on the right side of the eye.. cleverly rendered to give the eye depth and a windowed effect.. amazingly detailed amid the green shades within the iris.. the pupil is well defined , again with that white line giving the impression of reflected light gleaming into the eye.. your attention to detail is sublime.. the eye ball has such a sense of realism. I can see you have studied well before painting this fantastic picture.. congrats to you for such a successful outcome.. It can't be easy to think of a subject for a macro image when it comes to art, but a cat's eye can never be wrong. This one has the most beautiful shades of green, and you have brought out such a fine shine in it. It is also nice textures in the fur.
Your brush work on the eye is so nice and smooth, and more rough on the fur. I also like that you have kept the fur in monochrome colors, because it makes the eye stand out so well.
The format and framing is good, and I like the diagonal placement of the eye. A lovely and well done acrylic painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.
