Now here we have an example of floral photography at its best.
This is one of the most eye catching composition I have seen in quite awhile.
The color contrast extend in all directions, from soft and whispering to bold and shouting - eye candy supreme.
The central structures are seen in ultra high resolution and are well positioned in the frame.
As a measure of 'cool' the water droplets crush this composition.
As for intial impact this take blows that away - the moment you lay eyes on this take it take hold of you senses and imagination.

Very nice image of a flower I am not familiar with. The rain drops are well captured and look like small jewels on the petals. Good focus and good colors. Overall image may be a bit dark but still works. Well seen.

thanks Charles... these were free give aways at our local gardens. They give their members free plants every year.. we were lucky to get ones with nice blooms ;)

This is magnificent Eileen with beautiful array of color and gorgeous lush green background. This is truly beautiful in every way, can't compliment it enough! If it were in a contest it would've been a runaway winner! So soft and delicate with so much interest.
I could view it for hours and hours.

Great shot, Eileen. We have some of these growing by our Starbucks. They are lovely and the multitude of raindrops just add to the beauty. Superb lighting and color make it pop nicely. Perfect touch of leaves too. Excellent!
