Very nice! Light and airy. Whimsical and happy.
Great use of color. Your flowers are so happy they almost appear to be smiling and dancing.
Cone flowers always remind me of my grandma. She always had them in her flower gardens. Thank you for bringing back very fond memories.
A true pleasure to view!

I love the delicate colours in this pretty watercolour painting, Linda. I don't like to use masking fluid much as you sometimes get a hard outline but prefer to use a wax candle to block out areas where I don't want paint. I like how you positioned the flowers in this. The soft blues and greens in the background work very well. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Thank you so very much. I am still learning.

I like the chosen background, the flowers are delicate and alive, it looks like a garden on a dewy morning. I think your art might be better signed higher up as the frame will block your signature. Great job.

Thank you so very much. Signing higher is a good idea. I did not think of the framing issue.

How pretty! This would make a beautiful gift card! Love the colour palette and the work on the background. Love the simplicity of the flowers. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much Linda. This piece was an experiment that taught me quite a few things.

"Conflowers" is a nice piece with muted colors, as opposed to the bold, bright colors I'm use to seeing in watercolor. I would like to see more style in the petal shape but other than that; it works.

Thank you so much. I agree about the texture and my later pieces are better. I learn something new with each piece.

Ms Linda I love your coneflowers here, but they are listed as being photography, just thought you might want to know.
I love how you get these backgrounds and then the layering of your flowers on top.
Did you use masking fluid for the stems and the round circles? Keeping them all white is really cool looking.
This is an overall beautiful piece and thanks for sharing.

Yes this is my fave so far, so very pretty. And the masking fluid has added a really lovely contrast to it. Again loving your use of soft muted colours to give it that delicate feel. Could see this on a silk scarfe
