You have done a very nice job of stopping this dasher in mid dash. Good stop action allows the viewer to see the details in the body and wings. Good color through out. The reflection is well captured as well. The water make a good, uninterrupted background for the shot. The ripples add a little interest. Well done.

I love dragonflies and I know how difficult it is to photograph them, it takes a lot of patience! Well captured Dragonfly in flight, good focus, clear to view, I love the pale blue water reflecting the sky and the Dragon, the ripples are cool , they go between the dragon and it's reflection! Well presented!

That is a stunning image!
I love the reflection with the sky. The blue and black of the dragonfly is the same hue as the sky. Great bit of ripples and a fabulous composition make this superb.

Everybody loves dragonflies and the fact that they eat a lot of mosquitoes doesn't hurt. With the nymphs it is a different story. They are voracious hunters that eat small minnows and tadpoles. A beautiful shot that makes it appear the dragonfly is dancing. The adults lay their eggs in the water and I suspect that is what has caused the small circle of ripples.

It is a big challenge following these guys in flight!
Great stop action and nice water reflections of the sky and the dragon. Diggin' the water ripples on the glass like water too!

No...what makes it fun is shooting in auto with your eyes closed while spinning in a circle!! Now that is Fun!!
