The pair that comes to my yard must be getting close to returning. They do not nest here but as soon as the colt can fly they will be back. A great family shot with very nice action and fine details.

I think the feathers on 5he colts are so pretty with the auburn brown feathers being more prominent than those on the adults. It seems odd that such gangly legs could hold up such a large bird.

Nice stop of this action! This is one of my favorite birds! Well focused with good exposure, the image is clear to view , the colors and tones are natural, the colors are almost the size of their parents! I love the sound these birds make! Well presented!
