Oh.....my! How precious is this capture! Look at the baby on its tippy toes! Just too darn cute! Beautiful low lighting gives it a soft, sweet feel. This should be in the Birds and Bloom magazine! Great precious capture!

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

I know how hard it is to get a shot like this. It took me yrs to find them hidden in the reeds. I spent hours waiting and getting shots like this.
Excellent stop action, sharp Focus, great eye clarity and superb details.
You managed to capture a rare moment between mom and her wee one.
Outstanding bird photography Greenie!
Should have entered this in a wildlife contest!
;)

Excellent capture of the feeding action! I like the way the baby is standing and reaching for the food with the wings open. The sharpness and detail are wonderful. Great light and color too.

Wow! Great captured moment. Excellent timing!
Nicely framed and presented.
Nice color and interest.
I am glad you got away safely because a momma can be very mean and aggressive when protecting her babies.
Stay safe!.

Thank you very much for your nice comments Monica. The mama did actually start flying around my head once she noticed that I was watching her!

Wow! this baby is going to swallow the mom. :) what a great shot, just amazingly close and unique. Dry pieces of grass doesn't cover the action. The whole composition is very cute and attractive, thanks for sharing.

A very enjoyable nature shot posted here! How did mummy reveal the nesting place? Your nice image is well composed, has good exposure and is sharp. Well done!

Wow Grace, what perfect timing to get this incredible capture of feeding time between these two birds. I don't think I've ever seen this close of a view of this kind before. It's really a rare and beautiful sight indeed.
Excellent work and a pleasure to see.

O what a great scene Grace. This is such a wonder of nature captured at just the right moment. The scraggly looking baby is beautiful to the mother who instinctively takes care of her baby. Just a wonderful scene Grace. Thank you so much for sharing ~ Steve

Oh, Grace, what a superb find and to get the shot is amazing. I love how the chick has not fully developed its feathers and he really opens wide for mom to feed him. The browns of the reed like growth aid in camouflaging him.

Thank you very much. I was thrilled to see this and I just adore the way the baby is stretching as far as he can on his tiny legs to reach :)
