Another cool abstract work Suzanne. I think I have an idea of what you did to create this. I have always wanted to ty something artistic but cannot even draw a stick man. Now this might be something I can try. So you put different colors of acrylic paint into different containers, add a few drops of coconut milk, and silicone (not sure what that is), and then pour a bit of each on the paper and gently wipe with a wet paper towel? This is called Abstract Swipe Technique? What ever it is it produces some really cool images. Well done Suzanne ~ Steve

Thanks so much, Steve, for your very nice review. Yes. why don't you have a go? You can mix the acrylic paint with PVA glue instead of silicone glue and may have to add water to make it a nice runny consistency so that the colours mingle and the paint flows over the canvas or paper when you move it around. The addition of only one or two drops of coconut milk helps to make interesting cells and also smells really good! The damp paper towel is held so that only the tip gently swipes from top to bottom of the paper or canvas. You can use an old store card to swipe with but I find the damp paper towel is more gentle and doesn't wipe off too much paint. Hope you do have a go - it's great fun! Suzanne

Thanks so much Suzanne. I think I will have a go at it. Looks like a lot of fun. Do you use just regular paper or is there special Artist type paper?

I use either small canvas boards or blocks for some but this one was done on a 7" x 5" piece of glossy photo paper - some that I got as a free gift with some other paper when I ordered it. They're ideal for these experimental pieces. For the photo paper I lie them flat on a piece of plastic to catch the excess paint; It's a case of trial and error really to see which combination of paint and additives works for you. Good luck! Let me know how you get on. Suzanne

Another very pretty abstract artwork from you. I love the colors of the pinks and purples with spots of white. They all blend together and form patterns that your eye wants to examine. I like the light hints of green at the bottom. Overall, this is a very well presented image that is a joy to view.

Yes, there is a Buddha in the cave! This is gorgeous! The colors and tones are so lively! The reds and purples and white tones all blending together surrounding the Buddha , if I look again, I can see an elephant and a fish too! This is awesome and as usual, very interesting and fun to view! This would look beautiful on a white wall!

Ahhh, Suzanne, this one makes me feel joyful...like I have wandered into a spring meadow with a bubbling creek and a gentle breeze that makes the pink and lavender flowers dance gaily around the Queen Anne's Lace!
