Is this the river flowing out of the glacier lake? The water seems to have that blue cast. Nice scene with the diagonal orientation. Good glow in the sky which is also reflecting off the water. Nice sense of motion. Nicely seen and taken.

Thank you very much ! Yes, most of our rivers are glacier fed, this area has Portage Glacier and several others.

Excellent immediate appeal. The composition with the river through the center surrounded by ice and snow draws you in. Snow in the foreground and mountains in the back gives it great depth. Lighting and coloring are very good. Focus is sharp throughout the photo.

I love the natural sepia tones the setting sun creates at this time of the year. The meandering river with its snow laden ice edges leads the eye into the scene and softly reflects the golden glow of the distant sky. I like the movement in the water.

Wow this is truly a lovely image. Great detail depth and dimension. Beautifully framed with the lovely river leading your eye right to the majestic snow covered mountains. I see the foot prints in the snow hoping these are from your dogs and not the abominable snowman LOL
