I almost gave you a white Heron a sex. It was so close. But I have to for this one. To get this kind of a detail in a blue heron is amazing and rare. I have tried and tried. They just don't sit still long enough. I get ain't on them and they fly away. Well focused and centered. Framing is perfect. Focus outstanding. Well done.

This image is beautifully lit with natural light. It really highlights the soft grays, blues, and browns of hs many layers and lengths of feathers. The reflections of the leafy shoreline in the water add depth and texture. I like the position of his legs in flight.
