Great initial impact with the contrasting silhouette and sun, separated by beautiful colors. There is just enough light to show the texture of the water and the road leading to the building while keeping the hill and fort dark. Excellent story telling ability. Composition and framing are very well done.

A lovely entry for the light contest. Some absolutely great colours in the sky and interesting subject matter. I think adding a little more light in the foreground would have led us to the horizon as there is a great path for the eye in the photo. Well done and good luck.

Good strong color of the sky which I think is the strength of this shot,in fact I would crop a nit more of the forshore in this because of the sky,but the curve of the forshore does lead you into the scene,so maybe its fine as it is...Brian
