Great capture of this gorgeous sunset, Pat, showing the orange glow in the sky from the setting sun, reflecting on the water. The silhouettes of the foreground grasses and the couple enjoying the view create great contrast. Excellent lighting and focus. Lovely composition. Suzanne

A beautiful sunset with an incredible colored sky and beautiful sea. I love the silhouetted capture of the couple enjoying this sunset.
It just looks so romantic and a wonderful place to see love.
Fantastic eye getting this capture.

The first thing I noticed were the two clouds over the hills in the distance. They just bring the distance to life. I have to admit ''the couple on the bank'' are not visible in my picture, though there is a chimney protruding into the blue space of the water. It is nevertheless a startlingly beautiful place and photo.

A beautiful shot that would look great on most any wall. The couple is well located along the shore and the colors in the sky are fantastic.

Looks like you enjoyed a beautiful sunset there in your lovely location! Love the colours and tones your appropriate settings have caught. Your composition is excellent. Nicely taken!

Romantic capture with inclusion of a loving couple savoring the remaining warm of the golden hour...
Vanishing viewpoint.
Diminishing perspective.
Sharply focused.
Fine features & textures.
Subdued lighting.
Fantabulous letterbox framing.

Good perspective & long depth of field...

Thanks for sharing...

Candid photography is always so special. The sunset itself is beautiful but having the two people that were sitting enjoying it is very heartwarming. Excellent work on the lighting and focus. Very well done. Thank you for sharing.

I love the peachy oranges in this scene. The silhouette of the mountain adds nice depth. The gray water looks cold and uninviting. The very pale reflections on the icy looking water is very pleasing. The grasses and the couple in silhouette in the foreground are added touches.

Pat,
A beautiful picture of the sun setting behind Mount Susitina in silhouette while colouring the sky in shades of orange & gold fading into the pale sapphire blue in the upper heavens these colours reflected on the waters of Cook inlet The silhouetted couple & the grasses that frame them add interest to the foreground. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
