Well I loved your heron when you used this technique. It's clear you grew from there here with all the blooms, boot, bee and bottle.
The details and set up are fabulous. I am really impressed with the details on the bee, eyes, wings and pollen saddle bags.
Nice work Linda. Be encouraged girl, you are growing, stretching in your work as an artist.
I must give you a photo 101 lesson to Photograph your work to show it off better! .;)

I like the subject matter, and the idea of adding the perfume bottle suggests the scent of the flowers, the bee adds to the idea that the flowers may be freshly picked.

Good initial impact and beautiful presentation of this lovely line art. A fine entry into the contest and a good contender and good luck. I love the simplicity of this line drawing ....and love how you took advantage of that. Your details so beautifully created with good details. Some many wonderful things in this art: the bumblebee, the perfume bottle, the garden boot as the flower vase. Your cream background compliments this art work and makes this a stunning work. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing. I love this!

beautiful still-life drawing, using well loved items. A good drawer as well as a good painter, sometimes painters do not hone their drawing skills enough. They way you got the bee to bridge the gap, is very clever..Do you have a stamp for your name? I just scribble RF or my name at the bottoms, I see you are very professional in this matter..

can you give me any tips? seriously, I just stick an RF in a corner if it is a painting or scribble my name along the bottom for drawings, yours is always done so beautifully..

Look up some how to calligraphy videos on Utube and practice. I had one instructure that had us do nothing but paint Os and Ls for three weeks to learn how to create the wide and thin lines. Use a small flat sable brush and practice on lined paper.

A really beautiful line drawing with your pen & black ink on the buff coloured paper created with your artist's eye for composition & very skilful pensmanship in bringing this scene to life.

Wow Linda! This is very impressive to view! I love the title ! I like the boot to hold the larger faced flowers and the clear glass vase to hold the tulips, those were clever choices , the bee is a pleasant surprise and very well drawn with awesome detail, I love the perfume bottle placed next to the glsss vase, it does add a feminine touch to the boot! All objects and flowers are very well drawn with great detail, the boot, vase and perfume bottle are well shaped and placed on the table in this wonderful work of art! This will be difficult to beat ! Best to you in the contest!

Thank you so very much. It is on a white background but I could not get my iPad to take it that way. I am not good at photography or photo editing.

I like the off white, adds creamy to it. No problem, its great!

Excellent line drawing work, Linda. Beautifully composed with great perspective and depth. Love the boot as a vase. Adds a bit of uniqueness and character. Every flower has something different to offer the viewer in size, shape, or angle. Perfect for the contest. Good luck!
