I saw my first crab apple blooms in Washington, DC on a spring business trip. The clusters of pink blossoms and rosy buds create a splendorous display of springtime beauty. I love the yellow centers and the deeper tinged edges of the petals.

What a beautiful image Barbara. The details in the flower petals sharp and the colors are well rendered. Great subject placement in the frame with the contrasting unopened buds in the foreground. Nice complimentary background. Very nicely done Barbara ~ Steve

Wonderful initial impression: this is such a beautiful image, the crab apple blossoms are gorgeous! I love the pink to white tones! The petals show nice detail the center detail shows clear, I like the arrangement with the buds at the bottom, this allows us to see the different stages of life ! This is well focused, clear to view well exposed, the colors and tones appear natural, the clear green background showcases the lovely crabapple blossoms, buds and their supporting branch and greenery. Well presented!

A very nice image that does take us back to the cooler time of the year when color was just bursting out on the trees. Good detail and focus in the shot. The buds on the bottom help to balance the shot. Nice colors. Well seen and presented.
