He reminds me of the tree people named Ents in Lord of the Rings. The main Ents was named
Fangorn which means Treebeard.
This reminds me of Fangorn.
Love the blue background, blue eyes and colorful foliage that make up his hair on both his head and face.

An intriguing image. I am not familiar with the Celtic myth, but he looks a lot like characters from "The Lord of the Rings". The facial features are riveting and the colors are fantastic.

Having read the myth behind the Green Man it is easy to see why the artist chose to represent him in this fashion. The art although somewhat abstract is an excellent representation of a god of the forest. The details of the face are well painted especially the eyes. Well done.

A good representation and imagery of your story, well told. I like the contrasting blue background which brings forward the portrait as such.
You have managed an almost 3D effect with the nose and mouth giving a good structure.
Colour pallet a good mix and I see nature in those colours.

our celt looks more like a woman than a man but be that as it may, super idea. As I was married to an irish man and joined in all the festivities, I found their myths wonderfully inventive. can you imagine how many murderers and child snatchers got away from justice by being misrepresented as some legend or myth!!
