Wonderful initial impression: I really like this one as well as the interesting artists notes , I like the wY you created the leaves for his hair and beard, I love that his face is flesh tones under the leaves and he has blue eyes, his expression show us that he is friendly, he's the protector of the forest, the blue background was a good choice as it really keeps the viewer focused on this Mythical being, it's a nice variety of colors, shapes and sizes of the leaves, his nose and mouth are well rendered and proportionate to his face! Well created and presented!

Interesting piece! Love your use of color and the watercolor wash technique. I think the bold blue background detracts from the main subject a bit because it is so bold compared to the pastels of the man, but this just gives the piece a different kind of abstract tone. All in all a great piece!
