Grace,
A stunning picture of the Julia Butterfly ~ Dryas Julia alighted on a leaf it's copper coloured wings open wide which from your angle resemble a Jet fighter plane. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

an excellent and original idea Grace to show us the Butterfly from this interesting and so unusual angle;
nice orange color with sharp focus of the wings' edge;

Quite a nice nature shot posted here. Your fine composition captures what seems to be a nice "moment before takeoff scene"! Like the delicacy of it. Well done!

A unique shot! Yes. All our engineering designs are copied from nature and adapted to human way of living! You have timed and framed the shot well. The colours and composition have worked well. Thanks for sharing!

It might be an unusual angle, but the it is exiting to see the Julia Butterfly in this position. It shows the long single aerodynamic wings perfectly. The butterfly is well focused. All body parts of the insect are sharp. The photo has beautiful natural colors.
Might be Longwing Butterflies were indeed models of early aircraft's. The look like modern gliders.

I don't believe I have seen an orange butterfly before, I like this because of the pose , it does look like a toy airplane on the stem! Well focused, clear to view, well controlled exposure, colors and tones appear natural. Well presented!
