Really a crisp and clear capture of this butterfly. The clarity and detail are excellent and the markings on it are beautiful. I do like the position of its wings. It does make it look to be a shy butterfly.
Beautiful species!

Very well photographed, it's a butterfly I have not seen before, well focused, the image is clear and well exposed, colors and tones appear natural. Nice detail throughout this butterfly , I like it's position in the frame and it's cautious position n the leaf, well composed and presented!

Very good close up, Grace, showing this beautiful Butterfly in an unusual pose with its wings not spread out fully. The soft background foliage shows it off well. Excellent lighting and focus showing a nice crisp image. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Nice and clear and a perfect pose! Good "catch". You even captured the pollen on the end of his antennae. Fan Art has an amazing number of good photographers doing the close ups it makes it hard to compete, but I like it. The image could certainly go in a Field Guide, Daphne

Well done shot that shows off the details of the butterfly very well. Medium soft DoF creates several levels in the shot and adds textures. Good color adds interest. Good sharp focus on the wings. Well seen and well taken.

You are probably going to think I am crazy but this this bashful butterfly reminds me of the dying swan scene in Swan Lake. The way the wings are shrouded forward and the position of the head just says ballet to me. It is lovely.

A very nice looking butterfly in a great setting. The detail in the wing is excellent; you could almost count the scales. Great colors and nice composition.

I wonder what it was up to,Grace!
Holding it's wings flat out as if it were a Moth rather than a Butterfly?
It's an interesting picture indeed,my friend!
Another 'Good Show'! : )
