Excellent shot,,with all that sun and reflection even on the sand, those clouds are low so it seems and this boat looks encased between two worlds lovely time of day, very magical indeed

Love what you've done to create this stunning sunset scene, Steve, with the old Pirate Ship highlighted against the horizon, the setting sun casting its golden glow in the sky and clouds, the sea and wet sand and rocks. Is that boat "Photoshoped" in? Lovely scene. What coast is this?? Mexico? I should look for and send you some of my old Mexico ocean scenes. They have been through the wars though, and are pretty rough... Daphne Oberon

Thank you so much Daphne. The pirate ship is a tour boat that goes around the bay every evening in Puerto Vallarta. I love the sunsets there. So many opportunities for beautiful sunset shots. Magical indeed! This is very beautiful! Dramatic clouds across the sky, the sun just ready to dip below the horizon , the ship sailing toward the sun, the water with the motion of the tide reflecting the beautiful warm color tones, this is very well composed with a well placed horizon line giving 1/3 space to the sky and 2/3 space to the water. This s looks like a scene from back in the day because of the pirate ship this is of course, well focused, clear to view, the exposure is well handled in this sunset lighting! Well presented!

I love the striking colors in the sky and how they reflect onto the water and the sand. The Boat in the distance is also a nice touch. You did a beautiful job and I thank you for sharing this with us. :)
