This deserves a 6 star rating and let me tell you why. First, there's no revisions I think this piece needs. But on top of not needing revisions, it evokes awe, it's impressive, and the piece has a palpable interaction with the viewer. I call it "duende" the power of art to move someone. Not all pieces have it, but all 6 star pieces have it.

I did enjoy! I am not a good critique of this type of work but have studied long with your story which was excellently told. I never tire of this drawing style. This is fabulous! So detailed with many elements of this folk lore guardian to see and enjoy. Both sides as described in your notes are clearly evident. Just so much fun to peruse and appreciate. Wonderful rendering. Good luck in the contest.

There is such an incredible amount of detail in this work, so many patterns and shapes filling the page! This must have taken a lot of time to complete! It's fascinating! This is something that I would expect to find in a book! This is very well rendered and impressive to study! Best to you in the contest!
