Hi Lilibug6 thanks for sharing this awesome photo of your Max. I wish I had 6 stars to send with my response.. You have totally captured his dismay and surprise in your shot.. Fantastic exposure and the clarity is perfect.. really shows his facial expression well and the intensity of his eyes is brilliant. loving the colour too.. his eyes truly reveal his stunned reaction and the open mouth expression just says it all. tells its very own story.. and makes me giggle just interpreting what words might come out of his mouth if Max could talk. you managed to take your picture just at the right moment.. the angle used shows off his delightful features and his stance... love the positioning of his front legs.. holding up the remains of what was his play tool.. even his rear legs are making a statement.. as they stabilize his body in this brilliant pose. his ears stretched back in total shock ... such a beautiful coat of fur your Max is wearing.. shows he is in great health and truly loved and cared for.. Such rich green grass beneath his feet.. how lucky he is to have such nice turf to play on. the luscious green hue in a wonderful contrast against his black and white coat.. makes him pop .... and of course the black insert of the remains of that ball add to the delight of the scene.. as does the droopy outer shell of the ball... the picture truly emanates a feeling of surprise and astonishment .. Max seems quite a character and it has been an absolute pleasure to review his ball talents... thanks for sharing and best wishes in the contest..

Wow Lori,! What an excellent capture of your dogs facial expression when this ball popped! I'm not sure if he's startled or amazed but whatever he was feeling at the moment is priceless.

"Ha! I killed the enemy!" The pose and expression of the dog are extraordinary. The blazing blue eyes and the open mouth make the viewer laugh. The dog is nicely placed left of center. The natural light is well used because it emphasizes the had and the white balance is excellent.
