Wow! You did a wonderful job portraying such a tender moment in life. It is very relatable and touching. The colors and details are excellent.

The Idea behind the drawing, of it being the beginning of end comes across dramatically.

The color harmony is good, for the most part, the red seems to strong for the other colors used, and I think need to be toned down some.
more importantly, I do think that the perspective somehow seems off to me on the old man in the bed. However, for me the main issue are the arms under the covers of the old man they seem odd. They seem too short, like stubs and that throws off the entire balance of the drawing for me and is a detractor to the overall flow of the piece.

Those are the reason for the less than perfect rating.

No worries. I agree with the tone on this one. If you see the others I did after this one that color down. Also I told myself after doing this I should have drawn his arms over the colors. Anyway it will still work for this video. It's just a few seconds laying out the last part of the story. Thanks Penmaster for the review (thumbs up)

Another interesting image.
This is a real story teller.
It is impressive to me with you using the sharpies. Very nice work. I wish I could do things like this. I just use the camera.

I have looked at your work now for a while and as I looked at this piece I just noticed the shadows on the wall, I don't think that many people who draw would ever think of doing that and maybe I might be wrong but to me I think that it is really deep, it looks like there might be a light on the other side of the room. As usual thanks for sharing and definitely keep up the great work my friend. Have a great day. JackJr.

I am just a couple of months from being 75 and really don't look forward to this kind of a situation. A very nice drawing though that reinforces my claim on independence.

Sounds like a great project that is very time consuming. All your drawings are wonderful and tell a great story. This one looks sad and full of emotion. Love the framing and composition.

Excellent details for the people. Wondering if he doesn't have hands? Not sure how you could show it, but feel it would improve the picture. See the pain in the visitor's faces. Well done.

I figured 30 to 32 to make it pan out and keep with the story. I think I'll have it 5 minutes or less. Thanks for the great review

This is a good depiction of a a very sad scene! From the expression on the elderly man's face I can see that he is suffering very much. I can see that his family is very sad.
