Wow! This is a very expressive piece! I feel that the colors coordinate well. The white color of the hair around the face really accentuates the facial expression. Great job!

I notice you have made that circle of white, the light shining from heaven down on him like the angels are coming to escort him and he is ready!
I like the colors, good composition, the details in his face, cheek bones, the lines in his forehead- makes him real, the IV line in his arm, the locks of his hair, even the sleeves on the hospital gown rolled up, you did not miss a thing.

I like the colors, good composition, the details in his face, cheek bones, the lines in his forehead- makes him real, the IV line in his arm, the locks of his hair, even the sleeves on the hospital gown rolled up, you did not miss a thing.

He is still in the between, even as he awakens from his coma. He might recover, but I believe death has touched him and he sees the eternal light which is said one sees at the end. He seems to embrace the light thankfully because it means the end of suffering.

Okay..that is just clever, funny and a tad disturbing. I am not sure I would have the same thought if I was in the subjects position.
But I like the circular lighting and gradients as they focus the eye inward.
The expression is great. He is full on ready to go.
