Very cute shot! You capture the personalities of the ducks. I thought there's only one in every crowd? Guess there's two in this one. It's debatable which two. Great detail and interesting setting in your shot.

These little wood ducks are really cute. I've seen adult wood ducks but this is the first time I've seen the ducklings. I like how the ducklings and the mama are all lined up in a row. The light and colors are beautiful.

Thank you for the extra star Fred! Some of these could be males. The immatures don't get their adult colors until they are around a year old. The male's facial pattern will start to come in when they about 5-6 months old.

Cute,,,love the green of the duckweed,,,ducks all in a row lol,,great capture, great colours and focus here,,a great story telling photo,,they look pretty comforatable on that log,,I am waiting for it to start rolling like the lumber jacks do and try to stay on
