Like birds they seem to have favorite places to perches and will return to them. This is a very nice specimen of a Blue Dasher. I like the lighting and the great perspective.

Beautiful capture of this dragonfly perched on the stem waiting to catch a bug! Well focused, the image is clear and shows awesome detail! I love the wings and their position !
