This is strange, I am sure I have reviewed this before. Must have gone into "bit heaven!) These beautiful yellow flowers compliment the close up of the orange Monarch butterfly. If it were me, I would however, remove the dots of yellow and green left on the background of gray leaves though, as well as remove the gray from the yellow flowers... This a very tasteful composition, Daphne Oberon

Monarchs are the most photographed of the butterflies and for good reason. Their colors are spectacular. That is so true here. Its a nice capture. Thanks for sharing it. Nice job.

Wonderful initial impression: I like the selective color in this image, the orange butterflyweed is a lovely place for this butterfly to land, this is clear and well focused, well controlled exposure, the colors and tones appear natural.butterly shows nice detail and I can see the texture of his wings. Well composed and presented! Best to you in the contest!

This is a stunning capture. Vibrant colours, excellent composition and clarity. I love the detail of the butterfly's antenna and proboscis. Great work.

Creative concept. Innovative approach. Imaginative presentation.
Duotone masking backdrop colors to pop out main subject conspicuously.
Sharply focused.
Fine design features & fragile textures.
Thanks for sharing...

They are beautiful, did you know there is a white morph coloration;I have never seen one, though;they have been reported in the US,especially on the Hawaiian island of Oahu.Only recently came across pictures of it on line! Most grateful for your review!
