Nicely drawn image that makes you stop and think. The multi-color descending doorways draw you back and down in the picture. The child stands in patient thought before beginning the trip. Well drawn, well conceived. Thanks for sharing.

Once again a fine artwork that mirrors life and our struggles in it. Very nice composition and focus. Good body language and excellent perspective. It sort of mirrors my life but without the wonderful colors.

Beautiful colours, and another inspired illustration. Excellent perspective, and I love the 'rainbow effect' you've achieved with the arches over the doors. Great work.

You are able to convey the depth and the perspective view very well. This painting is meaningful and one can a spin a story around it. Colourful, imaginative, this makes compulsive viewing. Good luck!

Cool design and a great choice of colors. Even though a comparison that jumps to mind was in a very different environment, it somehow reminds me of looking down through a natural rainbow tunnel the day I decided to run away from my father's control when I lived in Central America. Running away from him also meant evading Guatemala's police and the military regime that supported him. A strange comparison to make to your composition here, but being penniless and hunted at that time, I wondered what my future would hold -- what I would find behind life's "doors" in the future. The perspective continued, kind of as though each door led to a new maze with new doors and on and on. Some lead to corridors with dead ends, some not. Your squares kind of have a symbolism for me as well; it is as though, as a child, this kid wonders which ones are safe to step on.... Bottom line is I like it! Enjoying your story! Have a great day, Daphne Oberon

You nailed it on the perspective..I have always said that if an artist has to explain to the viewer of what they drew then they failed on the illustration..wink..btw I got started on your screenplay and feel asleep in my recliner(was tired). When get off work tonight I'll finish it. Thanks for waiting and thanks for the great review

Good artists notes and storytelling with your image.
I love how we are drawn into your art work and into this hallway with its many doors and colors. You really get us curious about what is down the hall and through those doors. I like your vibrant use of colors and talented sketching with your sharpie bic markers. The details are incredible and just draw you into this art work. A creative and talented art work. Thanks for sharing.

Oh boy, there are a lot of rooms to pass through. The rooms in different colors, apparently symbolize stations of life. That is an interesting thought. It seems that the little boy imagines his future. There are many colors ahead, all of them emotional and happy as kids often imagine the future.

Excellent cartoon, Mark, depicting life's journey through many doors. Love the colours you used in this and the immaculate detail you always show in your cartoons. Very impressive composition. Best of luck in the contest. Suzanne
