Oh crap,forgot about 'crab' starting with 'C' til I saw your photo-lol,I have several crab shots myself I could have used! Love the coloration on this crab and the angle that you shot this at.Focus is sharp,love the bristles on the legs,and the crab is framed well in your photo,good use of natural lighting.Would be interested in knowing what kind of crab it is and where you shot it.Very enjoyable to view,many thanks!

Nice shot of this ground crab searching for its hole. Strong color, good focus. I would have liked this better as a front view (more interesting) but it is well seen. Good luck in the contest.

Whoa! What a great shot you have here. The lighting is just right as it illuminates one half of the crab while the nice shadows give a fine contrast. The colors are well rendered and your POV is what really makes this an outstanding shot. My Highest Cyber six. Definitely a photo to set the standard in the contest. Great clear action shot of this "water bug"; I guess his far eye is damaged. It's no wonder of course the way a crab's eyes stick up. That is something I will have to read up on, the vision of crabs!
