Wow!!! I would be lucky if I could capture at lest one of them, but you got three!!! You got triple luck!!! The top one looks a lot like a small helicopter!!!! What type of pines are they? The photo has razor sharp focus!!! Amazing job!!! Fantastic work!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. What a wonderful capture Grace. It is always amazing how we will be taking one shot and then providentially another subject or event enters into the scene creating an image that w could not have possibly planned for. A shot like this is no accident. It was Meant to happen. We are all so fortunate that you choc=se to share it will all of us on FAR. I wish I had a Six for this one Grace. Great scene and thank you so much for posting ~ Steve

Grace,
A beautiful stop action picture of this trio of Dragon flies in among the pine trees standing out clearly from their soft blurred green & brown background. Beautiful artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

If you had sponsored a contest titled "Three Dragonflies in Motion," yours would have been the only entry I'm sure! Congratulations on an excellent photo, all nicely focused and with good color.

Awesome capture!! I love the dragonfly in mid flight. The colors are wonderful and the focus flawless. Thanks for sharing it. P.S. I was considering a Lumix FZ1000. Heard great things about it but settled for a Canon SX60EXR :)

Thank you! I don't like the fixed lens so much. I actually prefer Canons.

Nice shot my friend. The multiple Dragonflies is unique as most times you only see one. In fact this is the first for me! They are all in good focus to boot! Very good center of interest and story telling ability. Nice natural colors with good impact! Lighting and exposure are very well controlled. Point on in fact. Excellent techniques and high technical excellence. A pleasure to view. Thank you for sharing!
Regards,
Paul

What an exquisite capture. I live dragonflies, and to be able to get them in a triangular arrangement is just fabulous. Great composition and clarity - well done.

This is a rare catch. Three of them in an eye-pleasing triangle. The defined details of the bodies and especially the transparent wings are impressive. The colors are refreshingly natural. The pine branch and the insects stand nicely out from the shallow background. The photo is well composed, nicely framed and balanced.
