I like the dark background allowing these soft mellow yellow columbine to stand out with no distractions.
They almost float within the frame.

I don't think I have seen yellow columbine before either. They are a nice soft color. Well taken to show both the color and the shape of the blossoms. Good focus. Well seen.

There is wild columbine in my yard, but it is all the purple and white variety. A beautiful cluster of blossoms that is well exposed and superbly composed.
