I love dragonflies and damselflies and this is certainly a very nice shot. Razor sharp, stunning color, good placement of focal point and taken at an interesting angle.

Great detail and focus in that the plant appears rough and hairy. As I love dragonflies and damselflies, this is a favorite.

This macro is perfect. Even the smallest detail of the insect is extremely sharp. The green reflection in is eye and the segmented body beneath the transparent wings are especial impressive. The colors are refreshingly realistic. The placement of the dragonfly on a leave which cut diagonally through the composition is intriguing and eye catching. The soft background emphasises the insect nicely. The photo is well framed and balanced.

A beautiful Green eyed Blue Damsel Fly sucking moisture from the green leaf the light catching the sparkle in it's eye & lighting up the fine details in the gossamer wings. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Eyes on dragonflies are really challenging to photograph and get right. I know from experience! Your dragonfly's right eye is beautifully focused, as is the rest of the body and the hairy leaf. This would have been a good entry for the Green on Green contest.
