Beautiful picture! The red colors stand out nicely. It has a lonely feel to it. Great composition and texture throughout....I like the steps in the background and the yellow color is so rich and the red is perfect with it. Thanks for sharing!

This is a super cool photo! I love the way the red of the boat stands out against the yellow ground. Also the texture of the ground is super awesome!

Great photograph with a lot of character, I like how you have included the red lifebouy as well. Maybe a little less seaweed?
It reminds me of many parts of the English coast also where the sea almost disappears at low tide!
Nice one.

I like that you framed in so much of the richly colored foreground grass and how it compliments the color of the boat. The stairs in the wall are interesting and I like the stone textures.

Glad you enjoyed the photo and very many thanks for your nice review! By the way it's not grass in the foreground but seaweed.

Wow, that's pretty interesting. It isn't a color I would have imagined seaweed to be. Thanks!

Beautiful shot that evokes emotion by the viewer. I think I would have cropped it a little differently so that there is less of the golden weeds and more emphasis on the red boat. Overall it is a lovely composition and I like the way you included the red object above. It gives the piece depth and makes is visually appealing.

Very cool photo! I love the unique subject matter. The red makes for great contrast and interest. How great it would be to visit Ireland! :)

Yes, as you probably know there are places like that where the tide goes out so far it leaves craft stranded. In San Felipe, Mexico, the gulf is so shallow the tide goes out a mile. Maybe that is the case here. I see steps climbing up from where the rowboat is moored so this has apparently been going on since that wall was built. (Or construction of some kind diverted the water and changed the level. ) Anyway this photo takes me back to my youth and my boating years! Thanks for sharing! Daphne Oberon

This seems one of those photos which show the reality, but somehow influence the imagination of the viewer. Not knowing that this is just low tide the viewer thinks that the photo shows an area which suffers a drought and a boat which got abandoned by its owner because of the leak of water. It is interesting how the photo is composed. The yellow plants in the foreground give the impression of drought. The red colors on the boat and the lifesaver stand are diagonal which draws the eyes to the ragged wall in the background. The wall seems old and decaying which emphasizes the impression of abandonment.

Your very kind, detailed and thoughtful review is much appreciated! The plants you refer to are actually masses of seaweed.

A very beautiful fishing boat just stranded; I'm pretty sure it is not really abandoned; I like the composition and framing at low tide; nice colors with sharp focus;

Your have achieved a good perspective......nice contrast in your photography. I think you low perspective is aiding in your composition. Good foreground interest. I like the red boat in the image. Well focused and good exposure with beautiful natural colors. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing.
