The focus was spot on the Monarch. The butterfly, especially the colors and pattern of its wings are nicely defined. The colors are realistic. I understand the you want to show us how colorful the environment of the insect is, but I think the many colors in the background distract from the butterfly. This of course is my personal impression, but if this would be my photo, I would lower the saturation of the background.

The focus was spot on the Monarch. The butterfly, especially the colors and pattern of its wings are nicely defined. The colors are realistic.
