The colors in this sky almost seem unreal they are so beautiful. This truly makes me think of a rainbow sky with the beautiful mountain setting in the distance. Really an incredible sky. Such a pleasure to see one like this.

Great color in the sky and reflected on the water. I like that the horizon line is low in the image, this allows the sky to soar above. Colors and light levels are well controlled. Well captured.

You could publish an entire book on Alaska sunsets! I think we visited your state at the "wrong" season for them---May. This image is especially interesting because gray is not usually considered attractive for a sunset, but it is HERE!

A very beautiful golden sunset over Cook inlet, the sun behind the clouds colouring them in shades of orange & gold as the wind blows the across the heavens & over the silhouetted mountains on the horizon on the far shore. These colours then reflected on to the glistening sea. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
