This macro is interesting. It is not often that we have an opportunity to see a spider from below. The sharpness of detail is impressive. Even its mandibles and spiky hairs show clearly. The colors are realistic. The shallow background emphasizes the spider and its web excellently. The photo is well composed and framed.

Great macro of this spider,a very up close and creepy image to be sure! You can seee the individual hairs on it's body and legs,webbing, and you have even caught the catchlite in one of it's eyes! Great contest entry with an un distracting background,best of luck in the contest!

Look at the detail in that one. The composition of the spider hanging upside down is well framed. The soft green background brings out the orange tones in the spider. Nice work.
