I never tire of seeing these landscapes! What a grand view while driving :) Your framing is flattering and makes good use of the shape of the landscape. You have accentuated the curves nicely. The colors are beautiful.

I am reminded of the trip I did in Alaska with my family in June. Wonderful experience to see Nature in a different garb than what we see in this part of the world. This is lovely shot! The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

This is an rather unusual composition. The contradiction of the man-made road with a nature which looks undisturbed by man is impressive. The contradiction is intensified by the natural colors of nature and the gray of the road. I find it especial interesting how the rod cuts through the landscape with markings which remind of perspective lines. It seems to as if road lend extra depth to the photo giving an special three dimensional view.

I love this fall shot! Amazing coloring in both the trees and the mountains. I also love how the road just disappears into nowhere. The only thing that I would've done differently is to maybe make it a little brighter. Otherwise, it's total perfection!

I sure love the depth you get in your shots, Pat. Plus you always composed them so well with a keen eye for spatial balance and artistic design. Beautiful start of fall colors and the dip in the road really makes the piece stand out. Well done!

I love the way the colours of the autumn trees contrast so well with the pinky/purple of the background mountains, Pat, with the road inviting the viewer to travel into this beautiful scene. Very good lighting and focus showing a nice crisp image. Lovely composition. Suzanne

I love the depth this photo creates. The one point perspective gives it almost a 3d feel to it. Colors are wonderful and the shot is clear and very well focused.

Nice use if polarizing filter to minimize the glare...
Cooler over tones.
Subdued lighting.
Ideal framing in diminishing perspective.
The vanishing viewpoint leads us to farther peaks.
Pin sharp focusing.
Good perspective & long depth of field...
Thanks for sharing...

A beautiful scene, but I would sure hate to have car trouble out there. I like the way the road leads into the scene and disappears. Great colors and excellent composition.
