What a beautiful fawn! Lucky you to have seen her so close and in such a nice setting. Excellent focus on her head and body. I would have cropped the left a bit so she isn't dead center. Congratulations on the Recognized award!

Great shot! Fabulous initial impact. I might have cropped it a little tighter to really make the deer stand out amongst the grasses, but otherwise, you were in the right place at the right time. Good placement of focal point, nice sharp focus, ample lighting without being overdone, and great technical skills.

This little one is nicely centered in the middle of your photo,surrounded by the tall grasses and backed by tranquil waters.Great natural colors and excellent dof with good focus. This is a very soothing to look at image. The water is still and so is the fawn. You have caught him in a moment where he is listening for intruders. Perhaps he has spotted you. Love the framing and the pleasant composition.
