I think this is my favorite illustration of yours I have seen over the years and I always enjoy what you create. Your grandkids are lucky to have such a talented grandfather. I love the detail in this especially the shadowing of the grasses and moon, and of course, the fairies. Well done.

What a blessing to have your grand children appreciate your art. It has to make a grandpa proud. I have a love/hate relationship with fairies. Don't really know why. I think they remind me of imps and mischief. I love the detail in your work. The perspective is good too. I see the little or further away fairies in the background with their legs hanging down over the ground. I wish I was talented enough to draw. Instead I use my camera. I hope your grand child loves her present. You might want to get a card and put a little bit of money in it too. wink!

another ingenius idea, there is the moon, cheesy as always. I note the grasses are individually drawn which gives a very nice feeling, and there are lots of legs dancing in the background, What is the brown underneath?

Gave it to her today which was responded with a grin and hug
...now her brother Milo saw it and said.."ok papaw, since my birthday is next I want theolis wearing the infinity gauntlet (he is the bad guy from the new Avengers movie)..well..I got a lil over a month..it will get done..wink..lol. thanks for the great review
