I love it!
My grandmother used old coffee cans and Whole tomatoe cans to plant herbs to keep on her windowsill in Hoboken NJ.
Your use of filters always makes the ordinary magical.
Fine find and superb capture Cara.
Well done!

I have missed you. I hope you are well.
I do like this picture, espically the way you did the background. It is interesting, the can itself was interesting to me as I would never think about making marmalade.

Thanks a lot for the review Willie. I am fine after 4 weeks in Greece, and some weeks to get over the holiday feeling. LOL

Charming indeed! I'm dying to know if the oranges in the can were indeed canned. The "medium cut" throws me off. The jade plant is nicely photographed and I like the added bands of color behind them. A very nice still life.

A very interesting and in some ways amusing image. There are several puns all in this shot. Succulent oranges being just one. Cleanly well shot with great details. The background works well to reinforce the theme. Well conceived and created. Thank you fro sharing.

A very nice domestic type of nature shot posted here! Am guessing correctly when I think that what is growing in the tin is not an orange plant? Your interesting image is well composed, sharp and has good exposure. Nicely done!

a very good capture of this succulent plant Annie, very likely a crassula;
I like the sophisticated bg as usual but what makes this pic exceptional is the very expensive flower pot;
