Your detail of the people is very well done. The sides of the adults faces and their hair look very realistic. I like how well you illustrate the child's facial expression and size too.

HI Mark, When I saw this I
was thinking of a lot of things. This could be adoption parents, foster parents, or the child's real parents that had to locate to a new home. I don't think it's the later though. I can see a bit of sadness in the child's eyes. Those wide eyes make us believe the child is not happy, which could be any of those scenarios. I feel like there is a lot more to the story.

I would like to say I know what the tune is that goes to your story... but my mind is blank! ( Some may say that's always the case! LOL) Anyways... I love the way you express things. You do a wonderful job no matter where the story leads. Great Job My Friend! :o) Nancy

All that part of the story will be reviewed when I finish the video but your guessing pretty good but with a good twist..the video has 3 stories that is all tied to the song. Thanks for the great review

your usual immaculate work, which all needs a six. However, comment on this contemporary history picture. I like the fact that your child has a tonka toy. My sons had a sand pit and each week I would buy a little tonka for them and a book if I had enough money and then large tonkas for birthdays and Christmas. Eldest son in now a top Civil Engineer !!

A very well drawn picture!
I seem to be new at this, so please bare with me. I was expected to hear the music that went along with the picture, but did not find a button to push to attain it. Perhaps that comes later? At any rate I am quite impressed with the cartoon. Thank you for sharing it. E. Shields

Shields sorry about the confusion..this is just a skit of many that will be in my next video..folks like to watch the progress till the video is released. You are invited to go to either Fanmusic com (you can find that on top tool bar of this site) search "MKFlood", or you can go to YouTube.com and search "MKFlood Presents" which has twice as many so far.. they have a wide range of topics and stories with music. Some will make you laugh..some will make you tap your foot..some will make you think..and some will make you cry. The admission is free but you have to bring your own snacks..mine taste flat..wink..thanks for the review

I am intrigued about how you use sharpies to create this type of art. The bricks are perfectly aligned. The proportions look accurate. I also like the shading you are able to make look so blended. Good luck in the contest!

Nope but nice guess..the singer is female and the song is more current on the pop circuit..she has won Grammy awards in the past for other songs..wink. thanks for the great review

Seems like your story is moving forward. The little girl seems a bit unsure about the question. But I am sure once she is comfortable she will like the new home. Nice colors, details and composition. Thanks for sharing.

There is an incredible amount of detail in this, and certainly worth 6 stars! I will come back tomorrow and change my rating on this. I still haven't figured out the song yet, but have been enjoying all of the related images. Great work, as always.

Whats funny I'll get someone who will review one of these (somewhere in the middle) and piss and moan about something on that drawing that they don't understand..I don't take it personal..it is like someone walking into the rear end of a conversation and assuming what was said..I let them find out in the long run..besides those 1 or 2 are just a small fish in a large pond..wink. thanks for the awesome review.

A good illustration . Has impact with those strong colours. Crisp and need and well drawn. The shadows give that extra something. Head angle of parents good and the not so sure expression on the little guy's face just the deal.

Hey np Brenda. I know your coming in the middle of this. these are illustrations are for another music video I'm working on. There are 14 illustrations so far and 32 is needed. You can look at the others in my portfolio (I'm not expecting to review them) and view the others to understand this kids expression. Thanks for the good review.
