I've been away from FAR for over two years and am glad to see work from some of my favorite artists! And yours does not disappoint! Nicely done. I do have one question. Would not her shadow be climbing the brick wall just a bit? Of course, it is a small matter and up to artist interpretation. LOL....once again, nice work!

Montana!!! So glad ya back!(thumbs up) the "Funnie Flowers" cartoons are taking a vacation and the last couple years I have been doing music videos (19 so far). This is a skit to a new one I'm working on..oh yeah answer to your question is no..light angle and distance but your right about any artist can over exaggerate that. Me I'm always telling a story in 1 scene. Btw I invite you to check out any of my music videos on YouTube under "MKFlood Presents". They are a wide range of topics and stories as well as music. Some will make you laugh and some will make you tap your foot...some will make you think and some will make you cry..the admission is free but you have to bring your own snacks..mine taste flat..evil grin.. thanks for the great review

that's cool number one the color composition is great love how you even have the cast shadow it gives it great depth and you rendering of a lighting effect is awesome fine work here

The story comes alomg nicely. The kid seems much happier in this drawing. Probably because he or she found out that this is a tempory place to live I that age one has usually trust and faith in the future and un-happiness is temporary.
The drawing is well executed. The colors are intriguing. The composition is balanced and well framed.
