I think this is a very fine entry into a contest like this. I never thought I would say this, but the birds in the foreground are perfectly blurred. The bridge on the other hand, is standing out sharp and well defined against a truly lovely background.
It is such lovely colors in this photo, and the exposure is perfect.
The format and framing is very good, and it is a fine balance in the composition. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Wonderful initial impression: it's a beautiful view of the Sydney Harbor Bridge , I love the way the bridge acts as framing for the cityscape in back, it looks like sunset as I see the golden hues in the sky near the horizon, the water reflects the sky is such a beautiful way, I see the gulls in right foreground inflight , their motion shown by the blue. This is a well composed image with good camera techs, this is a good entry for the contest, best wishes to you!
