When I first looked at this I wondered how the light hit the leaf against a black sky. Then I saw you darkened the background and understood. The leaf is in excellent focus. I like the contrast with the colors of the stem and the leaf. Good eye for a great photo.

This is a great shot and it shows sign of Autumn but holding on to summer. The colors are vibrant and the camera was steady and yu got a great shot of a leaf.

Autumn has definitely arrived as the colors show. The colors are intensified by the dark background. The lighting is intriguing. How the leave curves into the frame is especially eye pleasing.

I really like the red stem, and how it plays against the red in the leaf. The lighting is terrific and the way it picks up the green is an interesting pattern! Nice work cropping the image.

Must have been the different colors on the leaf that caught your eye..wink..the clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of this colorful leaf is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

This is a nice mix of lights and darks! I love the detailed edges of the leaf and buds against the black background as well as the mottled colors of browns on green as the leaf begins to change its colors. Very nice.
