I love the latest of your Namibia shots. The dead tree adds interest and perspective to what is already a fabuloush capture. Well composed, with sharp focus. Great stuff.

I always love lone trees. The colors in this are beautiful! Great depth of field. This is perfectly framed. The mountains/hill in the background is beautiful!

Good landscape image with the barren tree.
Nice nature capture of arid environment.
Very nice horizontal deign broken by the dark tree leading to the dark diagonal mass on the right.
The tilted landscape and the tree and dark mass suggests a downhill motion.
Excellent color and composition. Nice perspective.

This is like a poem in pixels. It is beautifully composed with great attention paid to the details. I like the simple elegance of the scene and the great colors.

Fred,
A beautiful & artistic picture of the black dead tree in the foreground & behind it the beautiful colourful Namib desert scene with the the ancient red dune in the far distance under a clear blue sky. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A very nice and interesting landscape scene presented here! It's quite a stark, yet fascinating image given the useful notes you provided. Speaking as an ex-chemist, I would say that the orange-red tones are caused by the presence of iron(III) oxide. Nicely done!

This is a very well taken shot of a single dead tree amidst the sand dunes in a inhospitable terrain! The depiction of the dunes with multitude of shapes makes interesting viewing. Thanks for sharing!
